Penrith Panthers v Gold Coast Titans
Monday April 21 – 7:05 PM (AEST)

Titans: LWWWW

The Gold Coast Titans  were tipped by many to finish towards the bottom of the ladder at the start of the season. Some even tipped them to take the wooden spoon. None tipped they would be on top after 6 rounds. After 4 straight wins, the Titans are building a strong case that they can go all the way. And who can blame them. Beating premiership heavyweights Melbourne at AAMI Park and the inform Brisbane Broncos in consecutive weeks, shows what they are capable of.

Selected by many as the dark horse of the competition, the Penrith Panthers  have become a team of showing great consistency. Despite a couple of blown out loses to the Eels and Rabbitohs, the Panthers have only lost by 2 points or less. Outplayed and outclassed last Friday by an impressive South Sydney outfit, the Panthers come into this game licking their wounds. But with every loss this season, the Panthers have bounced back the following week with a dominant performance.

Titans will be without veteran Luke Bailey (ankle), bringing Ryan James into the mix, with Will Zillman added as 18th man. For the Panthers, Tyrone Peachey replaces Lewis Brown (pectoral) in the 17, with Sika Manu and Sam McKendry returning to the starting side, pushing Tim Grant back to the bench.

Even though the Titans have not lost on the road yet this season, the Panthers look too strong for the visitors.
