$1 million Monday Lotto prize won in Altona Meadows!

Tuesday 18 February, 2014 - A group of Monday & Wednesday Lotto players in Altona Meadows won a first division prize of $1 million in Monday night’s draw!

The 10-member syndicate each purchased a ticket in last night’s Monday Lotto draw from Central Lotto in Altona Meadows and will split a prize of just over $1 million for a share of $102,759.30 each.

Owner of Central Lotto, Prasad Madala, said the syndicate shareholders were overwhelmed with the good news to start their week.

“There was a lot of screaming and crying when I told my customers their tickets had won $100,000 each in Monday Lotto,” Mr Madala said.

“They’re very happy to have won. Some of the winners are regular customers who have played in this syndicate for years.” Mr Madala said his Tatts outlet is no stranger to lotto luck.

“This is the third division one lotto win we’ve sold from this shop in around four years. There’s every possibility that we’ll sell another big win soon, maybe even in Oz Lotto or Powerball this week!” Mr Madala added.

The winning syndicate was operated by Central Lotto, Shop 38 in Central Square Shopping Centre, 1 Central Avenue in Altona Meadows. The division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto prize was won with a System 9 marked entry.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3322 on Monday 17 February, 2014 were 24, 18, 21, 16, 3 and 19 with the supplementary numbers of 2 and 42.

Monday & Wednesday Lotto guarantees a $1 million division one prize for up to four winners every Monday and Wednesday.
