Jindabyne's missing millionaire found!

Thursday 4 December, 2014 - More than one week after winning a $1 million first division prize in Monday Lotto, the missing millionaire who bought a winning ticket in Jindabyne has finally come forward to claim his prize... and he’s single!

The happy NSW Lotteries player won first division and other divisional prizes totalling $1,003,055.50 in Monday Lotto draw 3402 on Monday 24 November.

The state’s newest millionaire wishes to remain completely anonymous but jokingly declared to a NSW Lotteries official that he is ‘single and available’!

As the ‘looking for love’ winner did not register his winning entry to a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries had no way of contacting him to confirm he was a millionaire.

NSW Lotteries recommends customers register their entries to a Players Club card. Not only does registration ensure your prizes are secure, it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a division one win.

The winning Monday Lotto System 7 recorded entry was purchased from Jindabyne Newsagency in Nugget’s Crossing, 1 Kosciuszko Road in Jindabyne.

This is the second time this year Jindabyne Newsagency has sold a $1 million first division winning ticket in Monday Lotto! In March, a 10-member work syndicate from Jindabyne won division one and other divisional prizes totalling $1,005,325.60 in Monday Lotto thanks to their System 8 entry.

Throughout Australia, there were three entries that won a first division prize in Monday Lotto draw 3402 which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw. The other winning tickets were purchased in the New South Wales areas of Bass Hill and Terrigal.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3402 on 24 November 2014 were 28, 4, 23, 43, 34 and 9 with the supplementary numbers of 3 and 20.

There are more chances to win big with $20 million up for grabs in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw. Tickets are now on sale from all NSW Lotteries outlets and online from Tatts.com.
