New England faces Green Bay on Monday (AEST) in a match that puts two former MVPs against each for the first time ever.

The Patriots have taken the mantle as the best team in the league at the moment. A 9-2 record and a seven-game winning streak has them firm as Super Bowl favourites with TattsBet. Quarterback Tom Brady is the main reason why the Pats are sitting atop of the AFC East Division and outright favourites to walk away with the AFC title . Against the Lions last week, he threw 349 yards off 38 passes for two touchdowns, closing the gap between himself and Peyton Manning in the MVP market.

If New England is number one in the league, Green Bay is a very close second. Recapturing the form that saw them claim Super Bowl XLV in 2010, the Packers are leading the NFC North Division and look set to win another NFC title . Quarterback Aaron Rogers is doing everything right this season, and is third favourite to snare his second MVP award. Throwing for over 2950 yard this season, he is second in the competition for TD passes and has the best completion rate in the NFC. His combination with wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who is first in the league for yards (123.2), has left a majority of TattsBet customers confident the Packers can go all the way this season.

This is an historic matchup. Since Rogers debuted back in 2005, he has never gone toe-to-toe with Brady. With both teams in very similar form, and both Rogers and Brady playing out of their skin, taking the Overs (58.5) in this one is sure to be a popular choice.
