With Seattle toppling the NFC West leaders, the Arizona Cardinals , last week, their Friday (AEST) match up against San Francisco now has much more at stake.

The 49ers may not be in the same form that saw them reach the Super Bowl two years ago, but they are still 7-4 this season and only two wins shy of sitting atop of the NFC West Division . Off the back of some rock-solid defence, ranking second in the league for opposition passing yards, they have not only strengthened in the NFC market , but continue to shorten in the futures market . Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has become the cornerstone for the 49ers' success in 2014/2015, and he continues to do himself favours in the MVP market .

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson may still be recovering from a Super Bowl hangover. Last week in the Seahawks' 19-3 victory over the Cardinals, he was uncharacteristically quiet. Twelve of Seattle’s 19 points came from placekicker Steven Hauschka, with the Wilson’s lone touchdown pass coming at the end of the third quarter. While Seattle are still a huge chance of not only taking out the NFC title , but to also nabbing back-to-back Super Bowl rings , he is still a long shot of taking out the coveted MVP award this season.

The last time these two met, the Seahawks beat the 49ers in the dying seconds of the Conference Final to make it to their second Super Bowl in the franchise’s history. Seattle may have created history that night, but San Fran are looking for their sixth consecutive home victory over their divisional rivals, and TattsBet customers are sure to favour the home side to win this one, or at least the first half .
