Harley-Davidson under the Christmas tree for $2.1 million TattsLotto winner!

Wednesday 26 November, 2014 - Dogs are known for chewing their owner’s prized possessions but fortunately for one Melbourne couple, a $2.1 million winning TattsLotto ticket was the only item their pooch didn’t destroy!

The winners from Melbourne’s western suburbs came forward today to claim their $2,152,652.14 first division share in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

“It’s a funny story really,” the winning woman initially stated to a Tatts official.

“The other day my dog grabbed my purse off the table and spread the contents everywhere. Everything had teeth marks on it - from the money to the photos.

“The only thing that wasn’t chewed was my TattsLotto ticket! I even thought to myself that the ticket must be special!

“But I actually didn’t check my TattsLotto ticket until yesterday. I was on lunch and I grabbed the winning numbers off the internet and I started to check my entry. When I realised I had all six numbers, I nearly fell off my seat!

“We’ll use our TattsLotto windfall to buy a home and pay off our debts. We won’t give up work though because we love what we do. We really don’t want to go crazy but there will be a Harley-Davidson under the Christmas Tree!”

The winning 50-game TattsLotto QuickPick entry was purchased from Westall Lucky Lotto at 148 Rosebank Avenue in Clayton South.

Throughout Australia, there were two entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 22 November, each worth $2,152,652.14. Along with the winning entry purchased in Victoria, the other first division winning ticket was sold in South Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3479 on Saturday 22 November, 2014 were 42, 31, 23, 14, 5 and 1 with the supplementary numbers of 10 and 44.

Tickets in Tuesday’s $15 million Oz Lotto draw are on sale now from all Tatts outlets and online from Tatts.com.
