The Italians won't have the muscle up front nor the skill in the backs to counter the Springboks, who will be breathing a little easier after their win against England. While I expect a few changes in their side to give front line players a rest, South Africa should still win comfortably.

The Wallabies come off a loss to France, with poor defence and poor execution a feature of their play. They will also need to turn up with a game plan this week, as they looked like they had none during that contest. While the Wallabies will surely be better this week, I can't see them lifting their performance enough in a matter of days, especially with new personnel likely to come into the starting side. Ireland were epic against South Africa a fortnight ago and will be looking to further dent the fragile Wallabies with another physical display.

With their aura of invincibility looking a little jaded, this will be another tough contest for the men in black. The growing confidence on display from the Northern Hemisphere teams sees them all believing they can knock off the World Champions, and so there are no easy wins on hand for the visitors on this tour. Wales will be better for their last two starts, though I still feel the AB’s will have enough smarts to claim the win here.

Both teams come off much needed wins, though the boost to the French side from their win against the Wallabies should see them continue that winning form here. There is a risk though that the French do “not turn up” mentally (as we have seen many times) which could make this a more difficult assignment.
