Both Green Bay and Minnesota are vying for the top of  the NFC North Division when they go toe-to-toe on Friday (AEST).

Quarterback Aaron Rogers responded to the criticism he received last week with a near perfect performance against the Bears on Monday (AEST). With the help of wide receiver Jordy Nelson and the rest of the Green Bay offensive line, the Packers completed every drive with at least a field goal attempt. After 10 catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns, Nelson now leads the league with 33 catches and 459 yards. Fellow wide receiver Randall Cobb is also finding his feet, finishing with seven catches for 113 yards and two TD’s. With the two developing an envious combination with Rogers, Green Bay have strengthened to in the Super Bowl betting market and are now the second most backed team with TattsBet.

Minnesota's defence has been among some of the best so far this season. Even following performances against offensive powerhouses New England, New Orleans and Atlanta, they still haven’t allowed 300 passing yards. Defensive back Harrison Smith is having a breakout year. Last week against the Falcons, he finished with 10 tackles, one assisted tackle and one interception. With Smith doing his share in defence, rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was able to complete 19 passes for 317 yards to lead his team to a compelling 41-28 win. Even though his combination with wide receiver Jarius Wright, who finished with eight catches for 132 yards, continues to blossom, the Vikings' price continues to drift in the Super Bowl betting market.

This is one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL, and one that the packers dominate. In the last nine games, Green Bay have tasted defeat just once. With Rogers and his side's offence beginning to hit their straps, taking the Packers at the -7.5 line has been popular amongst punters, with TattsBet receiving one bet of $20,000.
