Green Bay’s slow start to season seems like ancient history as the franchise aims for five wins in a row when they travel south on Monday (AEST) to face a New Orleans side struggling to find their groove.

Off the back of quarterback Aaron Rogers, who has thrown for 977 yards and 13 touchdowns without a single interception in their four-game winning streak, the Packers have crawled their way back to the top of the NFC North Division ladder and look set to claim the mantle with a win over the Saints on Monday. Green Bay have now generated the second most bets in the future market with TattsBet and remain second favourites to lift the Super Bowl trophy at the end of the year . Rogers’ performances have also garnered the attention of TattsBet customers, with the 2011 MVP winner generating the most bets in the MVP market.

The Saints are having their worst start to the season (2-4) in recent memory. Quarterback Drew Brees is trying to save his team, but his defence continues to let him down. New Orleans rank fifth-worst in the League for points allowed (27.5) and fourth-worst for passing yards allowed (270.5).  If it wasn’t for Brees, who has 1916 yards and 11 touchdowns, the outcome for the Saints could look a lot bleaker. But as luck would have it, they are only one win behind the Carolina Panthers in the NFC South Division and remain a big chance of making the playoffs.

The big match-up is between two former MVP’s. Brees and Rogers have only faced off five times in 10 years, with Rogers edging out Brees with three victories to two. With wide receiver Jordy Nelson in red hot form, notching up 712 yards off 74 receptions and six TD’s, he will no doubt be a popular pick for TattsBet punters for First Touchdown Scorer .
