New York travel to Massachusetts on Friday (AEST) to face New England in hopes of snapping a five-game losing streak.

The Jets are again off to another sluggish start to an NFL season. After narrowly beating the Raiders in Week 1 this season, they have gone on to lose five straight games. Ranked 32nd in the League, quarterback Geno Smith has failed to produce any consistency, coming into this game with a poor completion rate of 57%. Add to that his three fumbles and seven interceptions, and the Jets will find it hard to put any points on the home side. It's no wonder they're third last in the Super Bowl Betting .

Everyone was saying the Patriots were on the downslide. After a poor performance against the Chiefs two weeks ago, something had to change. Over the past fortnight, we've witnessed some of the best football quarterback Tom Brady has played in years. Against the Bengals, he finished with 292 yards off 23 passes and two touchdowns. A week later against the Bills, he racked up the numbers again, finishing with 361 yards off 27 passes and four TD’s. Brady is once again looking for tight end Rob Gronkowski this season, with the Arizona All-American notching up 341 yards off 26 receptions and four touchdowns.

The Patriots have won seven out of the last ten meetings between the two, and the Jets have not won in Massachusetts since 2011. With both teams at either end of the spectrum this season, punters will sure to be favouring the Pats at the line -10 on Friday.
