Ins and outs

(Suns) – Gold Coast coach Guy McKenna has made plenty of changes for his team’s final game of the season. Greg Broughton is out with an Achilles injury, last week’s first-gamer Leigh Osborne has a calf problem, ruckman Daniel Gorringe is out with an abdominal issue while Steven May is suspended. Pacy defender Jarrod Harbrow is the biggest of the inclusions.

(Giants) – Ruckman Dean Brogan has played his final game while GWS captain Callan Ward, who will fight it out for the club’s Best and Fairest with Jeremy Cameron, has succumbed to a hip problem. Talented midfielder Adam Treloar is out with an ankle injury. Former Hawks defender Stephen Gilham earns a reprieve while last year’s No. 1 draft pick Lachie Whitfield comes back in to the side.

GWS played its grand final – and won – against Melbourne in round 19. Since then they’ve lost by a combined 294 to Fremantle, Brisbane and Richmond. The Giants have their third interstate trip of the month when they head to Metricon Stadium, a ground the Suns have played really well at this season winning five of ten matches there. The Suns ran out of steam last week against the Saints after a stack of road games, but with the likes of Callan Ward and Adam Treloar out, they should have no worries disposing of their fellow expansion side. They won by 44 at Manuka Oval earlier this season and should get up by a similar margin in a low-quality affair on Sunday. Gold Coast by 40 points .
