Winning $50 million Powerball ticket sold in Dubbo!

Friday 27 December, 2013 - One winning entry purchased in the town of Dubbo in the Orana region of New South Wales has scooped the entire $50 million jackpot in last night’s Powerball draw.

NSW Lotteries is still waiting for the mystery holder of an unregistered division one winning entry from last night’s Powerball draw to come forward and claim their multi-million dollar life-changing Powerball windfall.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said it’s possible the winner is either travelling, relaxing on holiday or perhaps recovering from their Christmas festivities completely unaware of their new multi-millionaire status.

“The winning entry was not registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card so instead of contacting the winner to inform them they’ll be starting the New Year as a multi-millionaire, we have to wait for them to contact us,” Ms McDougall said.

“Imagine what you could do in 2014 with $50 million!

“If you purchased an unregistered entry in last night’s Powerball draw 919 in the town of Dubbo, we urge you to have your ticket checked as soon as possible at any NSW Lotteries outlet or online at www.nswlotteries.com.au.

“That ticket with the winning Powerball numbers on it is worth a massive $50 million so we recommend anyone who believes they are holding the winning ticket, to keep it in a safe place and contact NSW Lotteries immediately to start the prize claim process.

“We always encourage players to register their entries to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card because it not only ensures their prize is secure, but it also means we can contact them directly with news of a big win.”

The winning numbers in Thursday’s Powerball draw 919 were 16, 39, 7, 35, 3 and 25. The Powerball was number 13.

There’s another chance for customers to win big next week with $30 million up for grabs in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw.
