Four NSW entries share in Saturday Lotto $22 Million Superdraw!

Monday 4 November, 2013 - Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw division one prize was shared by 10 winners across Australia, with four of the winning entries sold in New South Wales! 

Two men from Sydney each scored a $2.2 million share in the $22 million division one prize pool, as did an unregistered customer who purchased their winning ticket in Cooma while a 14-member Store Syndicate from Meadowbank is celebrating after their entry also won a first division share in the weekend’s Superdraw. 

Sydney winner ‘a bit dazed’ after $2.2 million win 

A Sydney man hasn’t been able to stop laughing since discovering he’s now a multi-millionaire after winning a division one share in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw! 

The winner in his 30s said he couldn’t quite describe how he was feeling after winning $2.2 million in the weekend’s Superdraw. 

“I’m a bit dazed! I’m pretty much out of it right now,” the winner exclaimed. 

“I usually don’t check my ticket for a couple of days after a draw but yesterday I had this feeling that I should check my numbers. 

“I just couldn’t believe it! I looked at my ticket about 100 times and I still had trouble believing I’d won.” 

The excited winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he now plans to build his dream home and speak to a financial planner about investing his Lotto windfall for the future. 

“I’m also going to go to Pitt Street and get a new wardrobe!” 

The winning 24-game entry in Saturday Lotto’s $22 million Superdraw was purchased online. 

Sydney man says $2.2 million win ‘life changing’ 

Imagine trying to get to sleep after discovering you were more than $2.2 million richer after winning a share in division one in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw! 

One Sydney man in his 60s admitted he had a lot of trouble sleeping last night after he found out he’d won a first division share in the weekend’s Superdraw. 

“I checked my ticket at my local newsagency yesterday,” the winner explained. 

“The owner said to me, ‘Gosh I think you’ve won something big’. It’s a life changing experience. I must say I didn’t sleep well last night!”

The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, said while he’s not sure what he’ll do with his windfall, some of it will go towards his superannuation. 

The winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased at Walker Street Newsagency, Shop 2 at 54 Walker Street, North Sydney. 

Syndicate celebrating Superdraw win 

Fourteen customers of a NSW Lotteries outlet in the Sydney suburb of Meadowbank are each $157,150.10 richer today thanks to their Store Syndicate entry winning a division one share in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw! 

Tommy Trinh is the owner of Shepherds Bay Newsagency which sold the $2.2 million division one winning entry in the weekend’s draw. 

“When we found out our syndicate had won, we spread the message to our customers,” Mr Trinh said. 

“Those syndicate winners that we spoke to were shocked. It’s a good feeling for them.

“Most of the winners are our regular customers so we’re so happy for them. 

“We’ve owned the newsagency for about 12 months now and this is our first division one win! It’s a big start for us.” 

The winning 50-game QuickPick syndicate entry was sold at Shepherds Bay Newsagency, Shop 6.11A, The Village Plaza Shepherds Bay, 11 Bay Drive in Meadowbank. 

Cooma Superdraw prize still unclaimed 

Saturday Lotto players who purchased their $22 Million Superdraw entry in Cooma are advised to check their tickets as soon as possible as they could be holding a $2.2 million division one winning Lotto entry. 

The unregistered winning ticket was purchased at Hains Centre Newsagency, Shop 6A, 230 Sharp Street in Cooma. 

Jim Russell from Hains Centre Newsagency was excited to know his shop had sold a winning ticket in the $22 Million Superdraw. 

“We’ve sold division one entries in Monday and Wednesday Lotto but this is the first time we’ve had a winning ticket in Saturday Lotto!” Mr Russell said. 

“The winner could be from anywhere because there were a lot of visitors through Cooma on the weekend!” 

Throughout Australia, there were ten entries that won a first division share in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Suerpdraw, each worth $2,200,000. Along with the four winning entries sold in New South Wales, there were four winning Victorian entries, one winning ticket from South Australia and another from Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto’s $22 million Superdraw, draw number 3369 on 2 November 2013 were 5, 32, 23, 2, 43 and 40. The supplementary numbers were 34 and 35.
