Australia  and India  will be looking to get a full game in when they meet in the 6th One Day International of their seven games series at Nagpur on Wednesday, following washouts in the past two matches.

Australia has fielded the same side throughout the series an is unlikely to make an changes given it takes a 2-1 lead to the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. Aaron Finch  and Phil Hughes  will continue at the top of the order after a couple of impressive partnerships, but stand in skipper George Bailey  has been the star with the bat for the tourists. He has scored 318 runs in four innings during the series, with three half centuries to his name. His 98 in the abandoned fourth match remains the highest score by an Australian in the series however and despite the fact that seven batsman have reached 50 on the tour, coach Darren Lehmann will want to see his top order go on to make big hundreds.

Making big hundreds is something that Indian batsman have done against Australia, with Rohit Sharma , Virat Kohli  and MS Dhoni  all reaching triple figures in the series. While scoring runs hasn’t been a problem for the hosts, they have struggled with the ball. Ishant Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar made way for youngsters Jaydev Unadkat and Mohammed Shami and the pair added some much needed control to an attack that conceded 300 plus runs in the opening three matches of the series.

The chasing side has won two of the three completed 50 over matches on Australia’s tour of India so far and that trend could be set to continue at Nagpur if history is anything to go by. Four of the past five ODI matches at the ground have been won by the side that bowled first. India won the only One Day International between the sides at the ground, in 2009, but lost both of its other three limited overs matches at the venue.
