Sebastian Vettel has looked like taking out his fourth straight Drivers’ Championship for most of the season, but he can complete the job and wrap up the crown with a fifth placing or better at India’s Buddh International Circuit on Sunday night (AEST).

Vettel’s march towards the crown has been overshadowed somewhat by concerns the race may not even take place with concerns over a hearing set to take place in India’s Supreme Court relating to a tax dispute involving the race organisers. The German won his fifth straight race in Suzuka last start ahead of Mark Webber who battled to get past Frenchman Roman Grosjean in the closing laps. It was a remarkable victory given Lewis Hamilton collided with his Red Bull in the push towards the first corner.

Vettel has dominated the fast track at Buddh. In the two events there to date, he has taken pole on both occasions and led from start to finish in 2011 and 2012. Webber started from second on the grid on both occasions, while Fernando Alonso has finished on the podium twice with a third in the inaugural race and a second placing last year.
