Parramatta and St George farewell a number of club legends when they meet in a blockbuster final game of the 2012 NRL regular season on Sunday night. The Eels will say goodbye to inspirational skipper Nathan Hindmarsh and tradesmen outside back Luke Burt who will both pull on the boots for the final time. St George skipper Ben Hornby and workhorse Dean Young will also say goodbye in front of an expected 50,000 fans at ANZ Stadium. Parramatta regain the services of utility Casey McGuire while Bronx Goodwin returns to the Dragons flank.

History – St George enjoyed a narrow 14-12 win over the Eels when these two sides last met in round twelve and will be confident of recording another win after winning eight wins from the past ten games against the Eels. Winning only ten of their past eleven away games, The Dragons will have to improve a horror away record if they are to end their season on a winning note.

Dangermen – Covering for the injured Jarryd hayne, Jake Mullany has thrown his hand up for a permanent NRL jersey next season. The elusive fullback has scored three tries in his first six NRL games and is capable of producing a big play for the Eels. Dragons winger Brett Morris is a likely candidate for a Kangaroos jersey at the end of the season and will do his chances no harm with a solid display in his final game of the season.

Prediction – Emotion is the key ingredient in this clash and Eels skipper Nathan Hindmarsh will be motivation for a classic Parramatta win. Eels 1-12 .
