Triple group one winner Pierro  heads the early market for September’s Golden Rose, the first Group One race of the new racing season. The son of Lonhro is unbeaten in six career starts and captured the juvenile triple crown during the Sydney Autumn carnival. Patinack Farm’s All Too Hard , who was second to Pierro in the Sires Produce Stakes, is expected to be the main threat to Gai Waterhouse’s galloper at this early stage, while Blue Diamond winner Samaready  is also fancied. She's A Fox  has rocketed into contention following two effortless wins this preparation and will be a force to be reckoned with if trainer Anthony Cummings elects to take on the boys.

Peter Snowden has won two of the past five renewals of the race and his contingent includes Epaulette  - who is a half-brother to last year’s Caulfield Guineas winner Helmet – and Limes , who wasn't beaten far behind Pierro and All Too Hard at Randwick earlier in the year.
