Australia  will be looking to bounce back from their eight wicket defeat to Sri Lanka  on Tuesday when the teams lock horns in the decisive third match of the Commonwealth Bank series finals. Things won’t be easy for the hosts however, with skipper Michael Clarke set to miss out after injuring his hamstring in the second final. National t20 captain George Bailey  has been called into the squad to replace him, although he may lose out of a place in the final XI to Peter Forrest , who has scored a century and two fifties in the competition already. David Warner  will be looking to continue his good form after back-to-back centuries, while Nathan Lyon  will press for selection after being added to the squad.

Tillakaratne Dilshan  was man of the match in the last game, scoring a century and taking 1/40 with the ball. His opening partnership  of 179 with skipper Mahela Jayawardene  laid the platform for their win. Lasith Malinga  also returned to some of his best form, capturing 3/40 from his ten overs to ensure the hosts didn’t get away at the end of their innings.

Having beaten Australia in four of their past five matches, Sri Lanka clearly has the ability to win the match and lift the Commonwealth Bank Series trophy and they represent good value.
