Chelsea will aim to extend their unbeaten run to five consecutive League matches when they take on Manchester United at home on Monday morning (AEST). The Blues have been in fine form of late losing only one of their last eleven league outings to sit in outright fourth on the competition ladder.

Matches between the two clubs have decided the destination of the title in the last seven seasons, however this year the trophy is all but certain to head north with both United and City five points clear of third place Tottenham.

In one of the most hotly contested titles in recent years, the Red Devils will need to win to ensure they stay in touch with City at the top of the table. Spanish keeper David de Gea is under mounting pressure to perform at the top level, after a spate of poor performances. He replaces Danish international Anders Lindegaard between the posts who has been ruled out for up to four weeks with an ankle ligament injury.

Manchester United have the upper hand on Chelsea in Premier League this season having already recorded a 3-1 victory at home.
