Racing Preview 4th February

**TattsBet $5,527 Treble Jackpot (BR7, BR8 & BR9)**

1110m Three Year Old Handicap (BR7) – Emmalene is without a doubt the best horse in this race, but won’t find it easy having to carry a big weight and jump from an awkward draw in barrier 13. Her win down the Flemington straight during the spring carnival was very strong and class alone should be enough to see her in the finish. Belle D’Amour has always shown a lot of promise and will be much better suited back in a three year old race after tackling older horses in the Magic Millions Sprint at her last start. Leealan and Mr Favulous ran well enough at their last start to suggest they will be competitive here, while Miss Stash is interesting having won both her starts impressively on provincial tracks
Selections: Emmalene, Leealan, Belle D’Amour, Mr Favulous

1200m Open Handicap (BR8) **TattsBet $50,545 First Four Jackpot** - Smart sprinter Paprika made a pleasing reappearance when finishing fourth in the Magic Millions Sprint after more than a year off the track. She is two from two over this course and distance and can again be competitive here. Havatryst has an excellent record over this trip (five wins from eight starts) and would be well fancied if he hadn’t drawn so awkwardly in barrier seventeen, while Achievements and The Sixties are other leading chances with a tricky draw. Poor Judge could run into the first four after having a short break, as could Reilly Blue, who has been racing consistently well.
Selections: Paprika, Havatryst, Poor Judge, Achievements

1110m Class 6 Plate (BR9) **TattsBet $6,581 Any2 Jackpot** - Thefifthhole hasn’t been the punters friend recently, being beaten as favourite at his last three starts, but he looks to be well placed under the set weights conditions of this contest. His biggest danger could be the lightly raced Knox, who has three wins from just four starts. His win at the Sunshine Coast last month was very good and he will be tough to beat. Hampden is another horse that has only had a handful of starts but has shown promise. He has won three of his six races and should get a good run from barrier six. Devinardi ran well to finish third in the Class 6 on Magic Millions day and will again run an honest race, although barrier eighteen doesn’t make things easy, while first emergency Spirit Of Flately will bear watching if he gets a run.
Selections: Knox, Thefifthhole, Devinardi, Hampden
