Corio woman wins $1.3 million TattsLotto prize!

Monday 15 October, 2012 - A woman in Corio has started the week $1.3 million richer thanks to a first division TattsLotto prize she won on Saturday!

The woman in her 50s said the prize came as a shock as she’s not a regular TattsLotto player.

“I don’t play TattsLotto every week, but I bought this ticket on the spur of the moment on Saturday,” she explained.

“It was the second ticket I’d ever purchased online at and I never expected it would win!”

When speaking with Tatts, the woman said the news was still sinking in and she hadn’t yet decided what to do now she was a millionaire.

“I’m renting at the moment so one of the things I’ll buy will be my own home,” she said.

“I might also treat myself to a new car.

“This money has come at a perfect time in my life; it’s very exciting thinking about what I can do with it.”

The 24-game entry was purchased online from for $15.70 and netted its owner a total prize of $1,374,652.17.

Throughout Australia, there were three winners who shared in TattsLotto’s guaranteed $4 million division one prize pool on 13 October. Along with the Corio winner in Victoria, there was one winner in Queensland and one winner in South Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3259 on 13 October 2012 were 2, 13, 40, 15, 11 and 26 with the supplementary numbers 30 and 32.

Tatts Public Relations Executive Zoe Knobel added that there could be more big winners in Victoria this week, with a large jackpot on offer in Oz Lotto.
