Friday 27 June, 2014 - With tax time just around the corner, Saturday Gold Lotto is giving players the chance to ease any tax burden and kick start the new financial year with a share in $22 million this Saturday!
One Saturday Gold Lotto player may have even spent the current financial year completely unaware that they had more money than they or the tax man knew about.
Golden Casket spokesperson Zoe Knobel said one first division prize remains unclaimed in Queensland.
“A Wednesday Gold Lotto prize of $2 million won in January still hasn’t been claimed from NewsExtra DFO in Cairns!” Ms Knobel said.
“We’re urging Gold Lotto players to check their tickets and also to remember to register future entries to a Winners Circle card to ensure all their prizes are secure.”
Tickets are now on sale for Saturday Gold Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw on 28 June.
“The extra sweetener if you win a division one prize in Saturday Gold Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw is that the prize money is tax-free!” Ms Knobel said.
“At tax time last June there were 12 winning entries around the country that shared in the Saturday Gold Lotto division one prize pool in Draw 3333, with two winning entries from Queensland claiming $2.5 million each.
“A woman in Yamanto who won one of those tax-free $2.5 million prizes said she was going to take the family to Disneyland!” Ms Knobel added.
You can buy your ticket in Saturday Gold Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw from your local Golden Casket outlet or online from Tatts.com.
