Work syndicate scores Saturday Lotto win!
A division one win in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw blasted away the Monday blues for a five member work syndicate from North Ryde!
The office workers won a division one prize of $292,341.22 in Saturday Lotto, with each syndicate member taking home an extra $58,468.24 in their pay packet!
“We’re stoked! We’ve been playing for about five years but we’ve only had small wins until now,” the syndicate leader explained.
“The win means I can get a new kitchen! I’d say for most in the work syndicate, the prize money will be a welcome boost to their superannuation.”
The winning 6-game marked entry was purchased from Newsfront, Shop 124 in Macquarie Centre, Herring Road in North Ryde.
Syndicates are a popular way to play especially for work colleagues who can split the cost of a larger entry, which gives them more chances to win!

“I went to the newsagency on Sunday morning and the newsagent said that I’d won a big prize and that I had to contact NSW Lotteries,” the winner explained.
“So I grabbed a results slip and went off and did my grocery shopping. It was actually a couple of hours later that I finally sat down to check my ticket and that’s when I discovered that I’d won division one!
“My wife and I stared at each other for most of the afternoon waiting for the alarm clock to go off and wake us from what we thought must be a dream!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he was going to put his division one prize money in the bank and get some financial advice.
The winning 14-game marked ticket was purchased at Macquarie Fields Newsagency and LPO, 68 – 70 Saywell Road in Macquarie Fields.
