Family men win TattsLotto; Pledge prize money for kids

Thursday 8 May, 2014 - Two TattsLotto first division winners of $450,000 each from the weekend have come forward to tell of how the prize money will change their children’s lives.

"Smallest house in Rowville" owner upgrades with TattsLotto!

A young family in Rowville is house hunting after claiming a first division prize of $450,863.54 from Saturday’s TattsLotto draw!

“It means we’ll be able to pay off our mortgage and provide our baby daughter with a great education and a bright future,” beamed the winning father, in his 40s.

“We’ll definitely be buying a bigger property now. I reckon we live in the smallest house in Rowville so we’re going to get ourselves a place with a backyard!”

The man had a novel way of selecting the TattsLotto numbers responsible for winning him a division one prize.

“There are 45 balls in the TattsLotto barrel. I counted from 1 to 45 three times in my head and the numbers that kept jumping out at me are the ones I chose to play on Saturday,” the winner explained.

“It was the first time I’d played these numbers. I just used the ones which seemed as though they were highlighted in my mind, and they turned out to be lucky!”

The man purchased his winning TattsLotto System 8 marked entry from IGA Tatts & Liquor Rowville Lakes, Shop 10, 150 Kelletts Road in Rowville.

Croydon family celebrates TattsLotto win

A family in Croydon is in shock after claiming their $450,863.54 prize from Saturday’s TattsLotto draw!

“We’ll be getting some good financial advice and setting the kids up with this prize money. It’s always been so important to us to make sure they’re looked after in the future,” said the winning 45-year-old father.

His wife added, “Every week he jokes to me, ‘I’m going to win you TattsLotto’, and he’s done it!

“We often say to each other that not every couple could survive what we’ve been through over the years, but we’re stronger for it. I love him to bits,” she said.

The winning TattsLotto 15-game marked entry was purchased from Mountain View Newsagency, 293A Springfield Road in Nunawading.

Check your tickets in Chadstone!

TattsLotto players who purchased an unregistered entry in the weekend’s draw from Chadstone Supanews in Chadstone should check their tickets today – they could be $450,863.54 richer!

The ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card so Tatts is unable to contact the division one winner.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3421 on 3 May 2014 were 14, 41, 1, 12, 19 and 37 with the supplementary numbers of 23 and 7.
