TattsLotto top prize finally won in the Top End!

Monday 26 May, 2014 - For the first time this year a division one TattsLotto prize has been won in the Northern Territory!

A TattsLotto player has won a total prize of $694,993.83 with a ticket they purchased from Coolalinga Newsagency in Howard Springs, close to Darwin.

The winner has registered their entry to their Tatts Card and Tatts has been attempting to contact them to share the good news today. More news on the winner’s story will follow.

Tatts spokesperson Zoe Knobel said it’s been some time since a major lotto prize was won in the NT.

“This is the first division one lotto prize won in the Northern Territory so far in 2014, and it’s been almost 12-months since the last division one lotto prize was won there last June,” Ms Knobel said.

“In 2013, just two first division TattsLotto prizes were won in Alice Springs and Karama, totalling $3.5 million.

“These results are way behind stats for 2012, when a whopping 10 division one prizes were won in the Northern Territory totalling more than $13.1 million!

“It’s great to see that another Tatts player has finally won in the Territory this year! Let’s hope there are many more to come,” Ms Knobel added.

The division one winning TattsLotto System 9 entry was purchased from Coolalinga Newsagency, Shop 3 of Lot 4771 Stuart Highway in Howard Springs. The winner’s System 9 entry type allowed them to win a first division prize of $677,974.83 along with other divisional prizes for a total of $694,993.83.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 24 May 2014, each worth $677,974.83. Along with the winning entry purchased in the Northern Territory, there were two purchased in South Australia and one each in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3427 on 24 May 2014 were 45, 13, 28, 43, 11 and 37 with the supplementary numbers of 26 and 27.
