The winner, who is in his 30s, was oblivious to the fact he’d won a share in division one in the weekend’s draw until a NSW Lotteries official contacted him today with the terrific news.

“Yes!” the winner screamed after being told he was $1.1 million richer.

“We just bought a house so this is amazing! It helps so much.

“I’ve been playing Saturday Lotto for years but I’ve only been playing my winning numbers for about a month! I chose them using birthdays and special numbers!

“I want to share my prize money and help my family!”

The winning System 10 marked entry was purchased at Eastgate Newsagency, Shop 26 in Eastgate Shopping Centre, 71 – 73 Spring Street in Bondi Junction.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, discovered she’d won a first division prize when she checked her ticket this morning.

“I’m in shock!” the winner exclaimed.

“I always play Saturday Lotto but when I check my tickets, I usually discover they haven’t won. It was a different story this morning!” she jokingly added.

The winner said she plans to share her Superdraw prize of $1,105,263.16 with her family.

The winning 10-game QuickPick was sold from Tocumwal News and Lotto, Shop 1, 3 Deniliquin Street in Tocumwal.

Carl Cummings from Tocumwal News and Lotto was over the moon to discover his outlet had sold a winning entry in the $21 Million Superdraw.

“This is the first time we’ve sold a division one winning entry! We’ve always said that we were a day closer to selling a winning ticket and now that day has come!” Mr Cummings said.
