Trained by Gai Waterhouse in Sydney, Order Of The Sun  has trekked across from Melbourne to Adelaide chasing the $320,000 winner’s purse after winning the VRC St Leger at Flemington by seven lengths last weekend. The son of Encosta De Lago, who likes to lead, previously struggled in three Sydney runs, after winning first-up over 1600m at Randwick in February.

Victorian gelding Bring Something is another highly-rated runner. Trained by Ken Keys at Cranbourne, the son of Sebring has won its past two starts comfortably after struggling in Group 2 company in Melbourne. Bring Something has always shown ability and is now finally realising it.

Anthony Cummings has Best Case  and Surge Ahead , who both struggled in the very heavy going in the Australian Derby at Randwick three weeks ago.

Gambling Guru and Kushadasi  appear to be the best of the locally trained gallopers engaged in Saturday's Derby at Morphettville.
