$1 million Monday Lotto winner set to retire!

Wednesday 9 April, 2014 - A man from Sydney’s Northern suburbs said he’ll be looking forward to retirement after being of four winners who won a $1 million division one prize in Monday night’s draw!

The winner, in his 60s, said he was unaware of his new millionaire status until a NSW Lotteries official was able to contact him late yesterday afternoon!

“Oh my goodness!” the shocked winner exclaimed.

“This is it! This win now means I can retire! It’s funny because my wife was worried that we hadn’t won anything in Lotto recently.”

The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, said he plans to use his million dollar windfall to fulfil a few of his MonDaydreams!

“I want to pay off the mortgage so I can retire. I also want to share some of the prize money with family!”

The winning 4-game marked entry was purchased at Winston Hills Newsagency, Shop 3 in Winston Hills Mall, Caroline Chisholm Drive in Winston Hills.

This is the third division one winning ticket Winston Hills Newsagency has sold in less than six months. Last October, the store sold a $1.04 million winning Saturday Lotto ticket, and just three weeks ago a $30 million division one winning ticket in Oz Lotto.

There were four entries from New South Wales that won a first division prize in Monday Lotto which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw. The other winning entries were purchased in Cessnock, Kotara and Forster.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3336 on 8 April 2014 were 35, 2, 20, 15, 30 and 25 with the supplementary numbers 7 and 34.

There are more chances to win big with $40 million up for grabs in tomorrow’s Powerball draw and Oz Lotto has jackpotted to a giant $15 million in next Tuesday’s draw.
