$1 million Monday Lotto prize sold in Forster!

Tuesday 8 April, 2014 - A local retired couple said they’ll be packing their bags and going on a holiday after winning division one in last night’s Monday Lotto draw!

The winner said he was completely unaware of his $1 million first division prize until a NSW Lotteries official contacted him this morning with the big news!

“Are you kidding me? Are you sure you’re not joking?” the stunned Grandfather questioned.

“I don’t know what to say. I’m totally flabbergasted! I think you’ve made my day.

“I’ve been playing Monday Lotto for years but I’ve only ever won enough to buy a couple of coffees!”

The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, said it’s too early to say what he and his wife will do with their windfall long term but did declare what their MonDaydream was.

“I do know that a nice holiday will be on the cards!”

The winning 8-game marked entry was purchased at Tull’s Newsagency, Shop 1, 32 Wharf Street in Forster.

There were four entries from New South Wales that won a first division prize in Monday Lotto which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw. The other winning entries were purchased in Cessnock, Kotara and Winston Hills.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3336 on 8 April 2014 were 35, 2, 20, 15, 30 and 25 with the supplementary numbers 7 and 34.
