North Queensland Cowboys v Newcastle Knights
Monday, April 7 - 7.05pm (AEST)
1300Smiles Stadium, Townsville

Form guide:
Cows: WLLL
New: LLLW

Things you need to know:
Both sides come into the match with unchanged line-ups, the only notable addition being Zane Tetevano named as 18th man for Newcastle. With two very different results last week, it will be interesting to see how the ragged Cowboys deal with an emotional Knights outfit.

Reason to watch:
The heartbreaking injury to young prospect Alex McKinnon has been a driving force for Newcastle. Willie Mason was obviously inspired by his fallen comrade, with the big man displaying one of his most damaging performances we have seen in many years against the Sharks. Willie will be looking to back that one up because he knows better than anyone that you're only as good as your last game at this level.

Reason to turn away:
The Cowboys' woeful ball control against the Titans last week ultimately resulted in their downfall. They were disgraceful to say the least and lucky a brown snake came along to take the focus off them. If they put on a similar display, Newcastle will run rampant.

Say what:
"They look like they haven’t played together before" Greg Alexander on the Cowboys.

Final word:
We keep waiting for the Cowboys to fire but for how long? Even at home they are not a sure bet anymore. The Knights' challenge is to stay up after a big week emotionally. If they can then it may be too much for the Cowboys. Knights by 10.
