Bacchus Marsh woman wins $50,000 prize in The Pools!

Tuesday 29 April, 2014 - A woman in her 50s from Bacchus Marsh is thanking her son today for teaching her about soccer as it helped her win a $50,000 prize in The Pools!

The Pools is a Tatts Lotteries game where numbers are drawn based on the results of local and international soccer matches.

“My son and I both play The Pools and we’ve been mucking around together to choose the numbers based on the teams playing against each other as he follows soccer fairly closely,” the winning mother said.

“I’ll have to thank him for helping me win!” she added.

“I’d like to help each of our children out with their home renovations and then I’ll look at putting some of the prize money towards retirement.”

The woman won her first division prize of $50,143.68 in The Pools with a System 8 marked entry purchased from North Geelong News, Post & Lotto, 185 Melbourne Road in Geelong North.

The winning numbers in The Pools draw 1500 on Saturday 26 April, 2014 were 29, 26, 3, 36, 35 and 12 with the supplementary number 32.
