Mooroolbark couple are millionaires!
A couple in their 50s from Mooroolbark are in disbelief after claiming their division one TattsLotto prize worth more than $1 million today.
“It feels like it’s a dream,” the winning wife told a Tatts official.
“My husband took some convincing when I told him that we’d won a million after I looked up the winning TattsLotto numbers online.
“We just keep looking at each other…We can’t believe it.”
The winning couple said they have a few ideas for how to spend their newfound fortune.
“We’ve played TattsLotto for a long time, probably 30 years, with our favourite numbers as well as birthdays and street addresses,” the winning wife said.
“Now that we’ve won we’re going to pay off our mortgage, share the prize money with our children and go on a holiday overseas.”
The winning Mooroolbark couple purchased their TattsLotto System 7 recorded entry online from Tatts.com. The winners have chosen to remain anonymous.
