Gold Coast v Brisbane
Friday April 11 – 7.45pm (EAST)
Cbus Super Stadium

Form Guide:
Titans: WLWWW
Broncos: WWLWL

Things You Need To Know:
Aidan Sezer is back for the Titans while Justin Hodges starts at centre after making his comeback off the bench last week. Gold Coast have only beaten big brother once in the last nine encounters and four times (from 15) in their history.

Reason To Watch:
Gold Coast are top of the table and deserve to be after dishing up some quality football over the past month. Now, there's a sentence we'd never thought we'd type. But it's true. While all their victories have been by close margins, at least they're getting the job done and closing out the close ones. Alby Kelly has been particularly good and we'll continue to watch with interest.

Reason To Turn Away:
This local derby has traditionally been a one-sided affair, albeit usually a close one despite a couple of blow-outs in Brisbane's favour last year. The Titans have an inferiority complex when it comes to the Broncos and must deliver here or continue to live with the stigma.

Say What:

"I know there's been a bit of talk about not scoring any tries, but really, people don't get paid to scores tries - it is how they contribute to a football team." – Brisbane fullback Ben Barba attempts to convince us he's not worried about his lack of 'meat pies'.

Final Word:
It's little wonder tickets are in short supply for this one. Even the CBus Stadium brown snake had to line up for one. The Titans are motoring along at the top of the table and are a real chance of knocking over their nemesis from up the road. It's hard to get a real handle on Brisbane after five rounds but they will lift for this. This could be the game that ignites Barba's season. Broncos by 4.
