Tatts a hat-trick for triple-time winners in Melbourne!

Monday 31 March, 2014 - Wouldn’t it be nice to win $74,000 one month, $24,000 the next and then $65,000 a few months later?

Many TattsLotto players dream of winning a first division prize just once in their lifetime, but a few dozen Victorians have won a hat-trick of TattsLotto division one prizes in the last five months!

Customers of Midas Touch Lotto in Westfield Airport West and a number of other Tatts outlets have experienced the winner’s feeling three times over as they’ve been part of a multi-store syndicate that won major TattsLotto prizes in November and December last year, and in the weekend’s $21 Million Superdraw!

Owners of Midas Touch Lotto, Mario and Rozanne Weber, said their syndicates are just the ticket.

“In the last five months we’ve sold division one winning syndicate shares of $74,505 in November, $24,120 in December and then $65,230 on Saturday night,” Mr Weber said.

“Around 75% of the players who entered the most recent TattsLotto Superdraw syndicate were also part of the previous two winning syndicates, so they’ve won three times in five months!

“It’s funny that one of my regulars just returned from a trip overseas funded by his December win of $24,000, and he bought a ticket in this Superdraw syndicate the week he got back – and now he’s going to take off on another holiday! He’s a very lucky guy!”

A 32-member syndicate operated by Midas Touch Lotto in Westfield Airport West will share a total prize of $2,087,379.20 resulting from their System 18 entry. Each shareholder will claim a $65,230.60 share of the prize.

Tatts Lotteries spokesperson Zoe Knobel said TattsLotto syndicates are very attractive for players.

“Syndicates are so popular because they allow players to share the cost of a larger TattsLotto entry which includes more combinations of numbers, giving them more chances to win big!” Ms Knobel said.

Entries in the syndicate were purchased from 10 Tatts outlets across Melbourne including Delahey Village Lotto in Delahey, East Doncaster Lotto in East Doncaster, Footscray Lotto in Footscray, Ivanhoe Plaza Jackpot Lotto in Ivanhoe, Midas Touch Lotto in Airport West, Shoppingtown Lotto in Doncaster, Showgrounds News & Lotto in Flemington, Tobacco Station in Ringwood, Wanda Street Lotto in Mulgrave and Wheelers Hill Newsagency in Wheelers Hill.

Another division one winning TattsLotto Superdraw entry from Foot Street Newsagency, 47 Foot Street in Frankston won $1,909,090.91. The prize has been claimed by local couple.

Throughout Australia, there were 11 entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw division one prize pool on 29 March 2014, each worth $1,909,090.91. Along with the two winning entries from Victoria, there were three each from South Australia and Queensland, two in New South Wales and one in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw 3411 on 31 March 2014 were 22, 26, 21, 29, 10 and 41 with the supplementary numbers of 25 and 27.

Winner update from previous TattsLotto draw 3409, 22 March 2014

In a rare event, TWO division one winning TattsLotto entries worth $526,036.14 were purchased from Target Lotto in Hoppers Crossing in TattsLotto draw 3409 on 22 March.

Both $526,036.14 Hoppers Crossing prizes have now been claimed; one by a pair of friends who’ve played TattsLotto together for 14 years, and the other by a woman in her late 40s who will pay off her mortgage and “shout the family dinner” to celebrate. The woman had continued playing TattsLotto with the special set of winning numbers after using them as part of a work syndicate more than 12 years ago.

A TattsLotto prize from draw 3409 of $526,036.14 from Brimbank Central Lotto in Deer Park has been claimed by two sons and their father who’ve played TattsLotto together for years. They each plan to use their share of the prize money to renovate their homes or invest in property. Another $526,036.14 prize from Forest Hill Lotteries in Forest Hill has also been claimed.
