Friday 28 March, 2014 - Imagine how you’d feel winning a share in tomorrow’s Saturday Lotto $21 Million Superdraw?
Time is running out for customers to grab a ticket in tomorrow night’s $21 Million Superdraw and the chance to discover just how they’d react if they won a division one share on Saturday night!
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said with a bigger Saturday Lotto prize pool on offer this weekend, NSW Lotteries is expecting more players will have that winning experience.
“In last year’s March Superdraw, there were 17 winning entries that shared in the division one prize pool with four winners from New South Wales scoring more than $1 million each,” Ms McDougall said.
“The most important advice we can offer customers hoping to win a share in tomorrow’s $21 Million Superdraw is to register their entry to their NSW Lotteries Players Club card because doing this ensures their prize is secure and that we can give them that dream-come-true phone call if they win division one,” Ms McDougall added.
“We’re still waiting for three mystery New South Wales players to discover they’re millionaires after their unregistered tickets won first division prizes in separate draws!”
In the New Year’s Eve Megadraw three years ago, a division one prize of $1,631,578.95 was won in Saturday Lotto Megadraw 3073 on 31 December 2010. The ticket was not registered to a Players Club card and was purchased from NewsXpress Castle Towers (now trading as Nextra Castle Towers), Shop 268 on Level 2 at 6 - 14 Castle Street in Castle Hill.
A division one prize of $2 million was won in Monday Lotto draw 3106 on 23 January 2012. The ticket was not registered and was purchased from Office N News, Shop 1 in Gladesville Shopping Centre, Flagstaff Street in Gladesville.
More recently, a division one prize of $1,428,571.43 was won in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw 3387 on 4 January 2014. The unregistered ticket was purchased from Office N News, Shop 1 in Gladesville Shopping Centre, Flagstaff Street in Gladesville.
“Imagine what these winners could have been doing with their prize money if they’d registered their winning entries and had been contacted by NSW Lotteries!” Ms McDougall added.
Tickets in this weekend’s Saturday Lotto $21 Million Superdraw are available from all NSW Lotteries outlets and online at Tatts.com until 7.30pm on Saturday 29 March.
