$2 million Superdraw winner claims prize!

Tuesday 25 February, 2014 - The wait is over! A division one winner who purchased their Saturday Lotto ticket in Tamworth has come forward and claimed their multi-million dollar prize more than one week after the $20 Million Superdraw.

The new multi-millionaire, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, won a share in division one worth $2 million in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw on Saturday 15 February.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said while the division one winning ticket was registered to a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries hadn’t been able to get in contact with the winner.

“The contact details recorded to the Players Club card were out-of-date, so instead of being able to contact the first division winner with the exciting news of their multi-million dollar win, we had to wait for the winner to get in touch with us,” Ms McDougall explained.

“It’s a timely reminder for all our Players Club card members to make sure they update their personal details if they change their contact phone number or home address, so they can be contacted with news of a division one win!”

The winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Shoppingworld Newsagency, Shop 18 in Tamworth Shoppingworld, Denne Street in Tamworth.

Throughout Australia, there were 10 entries that won a first division share of Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw on 15 February, each worth $2,000,000.00. Along with the winning entry from New South Wales, three winning tickets were purchased in Queensland, three were purchased in Victoria, two were sold in South Australia, and one in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3399 on 15 February 2014 were 40, 39, 32, 6, 27 and 28 with the supplementary numbers of 1 and 34.
