$5 million Valentine's surprise for Melbourne syndicate!

Friday 14 February, 2014 - A number of people in North Essendon woke up to a lovely surprise on Valentine’s Day after winning a $5 million first division Powerball prize in last night’s draw! 

The group of 10-shareholders purchased their syndicate tickets in the Powerball draw from North Essendon Lotto and each entry will claim a share of $510,783.22. 

Owner of North Essendon Lotto, Aubrey Matthee, said he was pleased his customers would enjoy an extra special Valentine’s Day. 

“I’ve owned this Tatts outlet for four months and we’re very happy that we’ve already sold a division one winning entry as we’ve worked really hard,” Mr Matthee said. 

“I’d like to say thank you to all of our customers for playing, and to the Powerball winners I say, congratulations and enjoy!” 

The winning Powerball System 10 QuickPick syndicate entry was purchased from North Essendon Lotto, 1099 Mt Alexander Road, Essendon North. 

There were two division one winning entries in the $10 million Powerball draw 926 on 13 February 2014 which will each claim a division one share of $5 million. Along with the winning syndicate in Victoria, another winning entry has gone to an individual player in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 926 were 34, 11, 24, 6, 8 and 13 and the Powerball was number 7. Summer Love $20 Million Superdraw tomorrow!
