$10 million! Great Oz Lotto win on Great Ocean Road!

Wednesday 8 January, 2014 - Someone who purchased an Oz Lotto ticket in the seaside town of Ocean Grove won a first division jackpot prize of $10 million overnight!

As the ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card, Tatts is unable to contact the new multi-millionaire with the news.

Tatts spokesperson Zoe Knobel said ideas were already circulating about who the winner might be and she encouraged all unregistered players to check their Oz Lotto entries today.

“There is a lot of conjecture around who Australia’s newest Oz Lotto millionaire might be,” Ms Knobel said.

“As the ticket was purchased in Ocean Grove, there’s a chance that someone travelling along the Great Ocean Road perhaps at the tail end of their holiday has purchased the winning ticket in town.

“Or of course the multi-million dollar prize could belong to a local who will now be able to think about buying one or two new coastal properties in the area with their prize money!

“We encourage players to always register their lotto purchases to a Tatts Card so their prizes are secure and we’re able to contact them with this kind of life-changing news.

“If you think you might be holding that unregistered Oz Lotto ticket worth $10 million, contact Tatts as soon as possible to start the prize claim process and get your New Year underway as a multi-millionaire!” Ms Knobel added.

The division one winning Oz Lotto entry was purchased from Ocean Grove Tatts & Cards, 72 The Terrace in Ocean Grove.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1038 on 7 January 2014 were 28, 17, 19, 14, 21, 20 and 29 with the supplementary numbers 1 and 45. One Victorian entry has won the entire $10,000,000.00 jackpot. Oz Lotto will offer a $2 million division one prize in next Tuesday’s draw.

Players have another chance to share in a major prize this week with Powerball’s $6 million jackpot on Thursday night!
