Three NSW entries win $1.4 million prize in Saturday Megadraw!

Monday 6 January, 2014 - Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw has created three new millionaires in New South Wales with each winner set to start 2014 off with a bang after winning a division one prize worth $1,428,571.43! The winning entries were purchased from Office N News in Gladesville, Chester Square Newsagency in Chester Hill, and Carnes Hill Newsagent in Hoxton Park. 

Division one winner house hunting 

A Sydney woman is in the market for a new home after winning a first division prize worth more than $1.4 million in Saturday’s $30 Million Megadraw. 

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was unaware she’d won $1,428,592.63 in the weekend draw until she checked her ticket at a NSW Lotteries outlet. 

“I handed over my two tickets in Saturday’s $30 Million Megadraw to the newsagent to check for me. I was excited when the first ticket won $13.10,” the overjoyed winner explained. 

“After scanning my second ticket the newsagent told me I’d won Lotto and I said, ‘Yes I know. I won $13.10’. She said to me, ‘No this is what you’ve won,’ while pointing to the first division amount! 

“I just cried and cried. I haven’t slept all night. I just keep pinching myself.” 

The winner said she plans to use her $1.4 million Megadraw windfall to buy herself a home in 2014. The winning 24-game QuickPick was purchased at Carnes Hill Newsagent, Shop 3 in Carnes Hill Marketplace, Cowpasture Road in Hoxton Park. 

Division one win in Chester Hill 

A ticket purchased in Chester Hill has turned one Saturday Lotto player into a millionaire after scoring them a share in division one in the weekend’s $30 Million Megadraw. 

As the winning ticket was not registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner with the news of their $1.4 million division one win. 

Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw players who purchased an unregistered ticket from Chester Square Newsagency, Shop 14A in Chester Square Shopping Centre are encouraged to check their entries as soon as possible. 

$1.4 million first division winning ticket from Gladesville 

Saturday Lotto players in the Gladesville area are advised to check their Megadraw tickets as soon as possible as there is a mystery millionaire in the midst. 

The Gladesville winner, who is holding an unregistered entry has won a $1.4 million division one Lotto prize. The unregistered winning ticket was sold from Office N News, Shop 1 in Gladesville Shopping Centre, Flagstaff Street in Gladesville. 

Anyone who believes they are holding the winning Megadraw ticket should keep it in a safe place and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible. 

Twenty one winners across Australia won a division one share worth $1.4 million in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw. Along with the three winning entries sold in New South Wales, there were two winning tickets sold in Queensland, eight in Victoria, five in South Australia and three in Western Australia. 

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw 3387 on 4 January 2014 were 6, 32, 10, 40, 5 and 28. The supplementary numbers were 37 and 29.
