Three New South Wales Lotto players celebrate Australia Day as winners!

Monday 28 January, 2014 - Three NSW Lotteries players have had an extra reason to celebrate this Australia Day long weekend, each scoring a division one prize in recent Lotto draws.

The three winning entries were purchased in Chester Hill, Kingsgrove and Dundas Valley.

Chester Hill

Three weeks after Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw on 4 January, the mystery winner who purchased their entry from Chester Square Newsagency at Chester Hill has come forward to claim their prize worth $1,428,571.43!

The winning man, who is a regular Saturday Lotto customer, said he hadn’t checked his ticket so didn’t realise he had started 2014 as a millionaire.

“I had some Lotto tickets at home and didn’t check them until the weekend. Even though I’ve been a millionaire for the past few weeks I haven’t felt any different,” he said.

“I’ll keep working and use my winnings to pay off some debt.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw 3387 on 4 January 2014 were 6, 32, 10, 40, 5 and 28. The supplementary numbers were 37 and 29.

One Wednesday Lotto customer has doubled his prize money to become a multi-millionaire winning $2 million in Wednesday Lotto draw 3315. Draw 3315 offered winners in every division double the dividend prize amount resulting in the winner doubling his $1 million prize amount to $2 million!

The man spoke with a NSW Lotteries official today about the shock of winning $2 million in last Wednesday’s draw.

“I’m a regular player but didn’t ever think I’d win, let alone win $2 million by doubling my prize money,” he said.

“I’m still in shock – it just doesn’t seem real that I am a multi-millionaire.

“I’m not sure what I’ll do with my prize money, it’s just so surreal at the moment.”

The winning entry was purchased from Moorefields Road Newsagency in Kingsgrove.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3315 on 22 January 2014 were 44, 3, 11, 42, 22 and 26. The supplementary numbers were 19 and 21.

Dundas Valley

One Saturday Lotto winner may not yet realise they are $373,994. 21 richer after winning a division one share in Saturday Lotto draw 3393.

The winning entry is registered and was purchased from Dundas Valley Sub News, however NSW Lotteries has not been able to contact the winner with news of their Australia Day weekend Lotto windfall.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Elissa Lewis said it’s important for customers to keep their contact details up to date so NSW Lotteries can phone them with news of their win following the draw.

“Just imagine receiving a life changing phone call telling you that you’ve won Lotto. It’s what all our customers dream about,” Ms Lewis said.

Throughout Australia, there were eleven entries that won a share of Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool in draw 3393, each worth $373,994.21. Along with the winning entry purchased in NSW, there were four winning entries purchased in Victoria, two winning entries purchased in Queensland, two in Western Australia, and one each in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3393 on 25 January 2014 were 42, 37, 43, 35, 30 and 36 with the supplementary numbers of 5 and 14.

Tickets for Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw on 15 February are now on sale from all NSW Lotteries outlets and online from A Superdraw ticket would make the perfect addition to a Valentine’s Day card for a loved one!
