Best mates claim Gold Lotto prize in Browns Plains!

Friday 17 January, 2014 - Best mates in Browns Plains have now claimed their first division Saturday Gold Lotto prize worth more than $520,000 from the weekend’s draw!

“We’ve played Saturday Gold Lotto together with the same numbers every week for around 20 years,” one of the winners told a Golden Casket official.

“As soon as I saw those numbers come up in the draw on TV on Saturday night I called my mate to tell him we’d won!

“I’m going to put my half towards my retirement fund and a holiday with my wife,” he said.

“I’ll be looking at how to invest my prize money,” the second winner shared.

As the entry was not registered to a Winners Circle Card, Golden Casket could not reach the winners with the good news following the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The two men purchased their winning Saturday Gold Lotto System 8 marked entry from Nextra Drewvale, Shop 8 in Grand Plaza Shopping Centre in Browns Plains. The System 8 entry type won a division one prize of $520,831.15 along with other divisional prizes for a total of $532,093.00.

Throughout Australia, there were eight entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool in draw 3389, each worth $520,831.15. Along with four winning entries purchased in Queensland, three were purchased in Victoria and one was purchased in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3389 on 11 January 2014 were 27, 23, 7, 38, 40 and 14 with the supplementary numbers of 4 and 8.
