Super weekend for Victoria thanks to TattsLotto Superdraw wins!

Monday 23 September, 2013 - Almost 100 Victorians are celebrating winning a division one share of TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw from the weekend!  

Five winning entries worth $1.61 million each were purchased in Victoria, with one belonging to an 80-member syndicate, one being split between a 14-member syndicate, two going to individual players in Richmond and Mount Eliza and another prize yet to be claimed by a winner in Swan Hill.  

80-member Melbourne syndicate shares $1.6 million prize 

A syndicate of 80 TattsLotto players across Melbourne will share in a first division prize from TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw! 

The large syndicate with shares purchased from 11 different Tatts outlets in Melbourne won a prize totalling more than $1.68 million with each shareholder claiming a $21,104.37 prize. 

Kevin Ung is the owner of Werribee Plaza Lotto Kiosk who has been operating the successful cross-town syndicate for three years and he is over the moon his customers have won big once again. 

“We keep selling winning tickets! This is the third division one win we’ve had so far this year, and who knows, we might catch another one or two before December! We sold three division one wins in 2011 as well,” Mr Ung said. 

“The last division one winning syndicate entry we had was six months ago on 23 March, when players split a $1.63 million TattsLotto Superdraw prize.” 

Players from the following 11 Tatts outlets will claim the syndicate share prizes: Box Hill Central Lotto, Burwood Plaza & Lotto, Clarinda Lotto, Coburg Hub Lotto, Doncaster Lotto, Forest Hill Lotteries, Golden Glass Lotto in Glenroy, Pinewood Authorised Newsagency in Mt Waverley, Thomastown News & Lotto, Waverley Gardens Lotto in Mulgrave and Werribee Plaza Lotto Kiosk

The winning System 15 TattsLotto entry allowed the syndicate to win a first division prize along with multiple divisional prizes, amounting to a total prize of $1,688,349.42 for the group. 

14 workmates share Superdraw spoils 

A group of 14 workmates from an electrical factory who purchased their TattsLotto ticket from Pakenham Newsagency & Tattslotto in Pakenham will split their total prize of $1,635,608.97 for a share of $116,829.14 each! 

The syndicate leader said the division one prize was “not too shabby” and his workmates are rapt. 

“We’re all in our 40s and 50s and most of us will put the prize money towards our mortgages and maybe a holiday or a new car.” 

Richmond retiree seeks financial advice after $1.6 million win 

A local retired woman who purchased her TattsLotto ticket from Richmond Plaza Lotto in Richmond is reeling with shock after receiving the official division one winner’s phone call about her $1.61 million win. 

“I’m trying to keep calm, it’s got me all excited!” the winner exclaimed. 

“I’ve played TattsLotto since it started 41 years ago. I’m not going to rush into doing anything with this prize money now though. I’ll take it easy and talk to a financial planner about what to do.” 

Mount Eliza man celebrates $1.6 million win 

A 50-year-old man who purchased his TattsLotto Superdraw ticket from Mt Eliza News in Mount Eliza has claimed his division one TattsLotto prize worth $1,615,384.62! 

The local man told a Tatts official he was very happy with the prize but was still in disbelief. 

“I’m in shock…it’ll take a while to sink in,” the winner said. 

“I’m going to pay off the rest of the mortgage now and have a quiet beer to celebrate.” 

Swan Hill Superdraw prize still unclaimed 

Tatts encourages players who purchased unregistered TattsLotto Superdraw entries from Beardsley’s Swan Hill News in Swan Hill to check their tickets today as they may be holding a division one winning entry. 

Unregistered TattsLotto players who believe they may have purchased a division one winning entry are encouraged to contact Tatts as soon as possible to secure their prize. 

Throughout Australia, there were 13 entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw division one prize pool, each worth $1,615,384.62. Along with five winning tickets purchased in Victoria, four winning entries were sold in Queensland, three were purchased in New South Wales, and one in Western Australia. 

The winning numbers in TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw 3357 on 21 September 2013 were 5, 2, 1, 42, 19 and 16 with the supplementary numbers of 10 and 37.
