Ballarat builders nab TattsLotto win!

Tuesday 17 September, 2013 - A group of 27 co-workers at a commercial building company in Ballarat are celebrating today after their Saturday TattsLotto entry nabbed a first division prize of more than $472,000!

The leader of the work syndicate was thrilled that the group has had a major win as they play TattsLotto together each week.

“This is unreal!” the syndicate leader told a Tatts official.

“I set up this syndicate 12 years ago, and when we won $300 once we were pretty happy but this prize is quite a bit better than that.”

The division one TattsLotto prize of $472,444.65 will be split 27 ways between the workmates for a share of $17,497.95 each.

“The people in the syndicate range between 20-years-old up to 62-years-old so they’ll all be spending the prize money different ways,” the syndicate leader said.

“Some of them will be thinking about going on a decent family holiday after working so hard, and others will be looking at retiring.

“The other people at work will probably be spewing they weren’t in it!”

The winning 24-game QuickPick entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw was purchased from Victoria Street News & Lotto, Shop 1, 75 Victoria Street in Ballarat East.

Throughout Australia, there were nine entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool, each worth $472,444.65. Along with the winning ticket purchased in Victoria, four winning entries were sold in Queensland, three were purchased in New South Wales, and one in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3355 on 14 September 2013 were 20, 28, 34, 11, 40 and 3 with the supplementary numbers of 25 and 39.

There are more chances for players to win big this week with TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw on this Saturday the 21st of September!
