Tarneit TattsLotto winner claims $1 million prize!

Tuesday 10 September, 2013 - A retired man from Tarneit has come forward to claim a division one TattsLotto prize worth more than $1 million!

The man was unaware he had won the prize in TattsLotto draw 3347 on 17 August as Tatts was unable to contact him using the details he registered on his Tatts Card.

“I can tell you I’m very surprised,” the winning man told a Tatts official upon hearing the news.

“It’s wonderful timing. I recently retired so this prize money will be very useful.

“We’ll leave most of it in the bank for some time, but my wife and I will celebrate with a holiday cruise.”

The winning 18-game QuickPick TattsLotto entry was purchased from Wyndham Village Lotto & News, Shop 39 at 380 Sayers Road, Tarneit. The winning man has chosen to remain anonymous.

Tatts spokesperson Zoe Knobel said it’s important players remember to keep details on their Tatts Card up-to-date.

“In order to contact you with news of life-changing division one lotto wins, you need to ensure the personal details you’ve registered on your Tatts Card are current,” Ms Knobel said.

“If you move address or change phone numbers, remember to update the contact details on your Tatts Card so we can give you that dream-come-true winner’s phone call if your lotto numbers come up!”

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that won a first division share of Saturday TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on 17 August 2013, each worth $1,057,283.92. Along with the winning ticket purchased in Victoria, winning entries were sold in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3347 on 17 August 2013 were 5, 42, 33, 45, 27 and 35 with the supplementary numbers of 16 and 4.

There is another chance for players to win big this week with $20 million up for grabs in Thursday’s Powerball draw!
