MEDIA RELEASE – ESSENDON SCANDAL

Following tonight's announcement by the AFL concerning the Essendon Football Club, Tattsbet have refunded futures bets involving Essendon for the 2013 AFL Premiership season.

Regarding multi-bets, legs involving Essendon futures markets have been voided and other legs will be resulted as normal.

“While Essendon were always well in the betting to win the premiership after a flying start to the season, it is obvious that those customers who backed them had no real chance to win. It is only fair and reasonable to give them their money back”, said Tattsbet’s Gerard Daffy.

Tattsbet also refunded all bets involving the Melbourne Storm when they were stripped of NRL competition points in 2010.

Markets refunded
- To win Premiership
- To make Grand Final
- Final Eight
- All quinella and Premiership double bets involving Essendon
