Tuesday 27 August, 2013 - The Melbourne suburb of Preston is celebrating after a 20-share syndicate won a division one prize worth more than $830,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw!
In addition to the first division win, the syndicate also won other divisional prizes, making the total prize worth $896,245.93 or $44,812.29 per share.
Tan Lee from Town Hall Lotto said he couldn’t wait to share the news of the big win with the syndicate members.
“Once I found out the syndicate had won, I called everyone I could at about 10pm on Saturday night,” Mr Lee explained.
“I spoke to the majority of syndicate members and they were all so happy that their syndicate had won!”
This is yet another syndicate win for Town Hall Lotto which had a forty-share store syndicate score a $1.3 million win in February last year.
The winning ticket was a marked entry, which included one System 12 game, one System 10 game, two System 9 games, and one System eight game.
The 20 winning syndicate shares were purchased from Town Hall Lotto, 403 High Street in Preston.
Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of Saturday TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool. Along with the winning syndicate entry from Preston, two winning tickets were sold in New South Wales, and one was purchased in Queensland and South Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3349 on 24 August 2013 were 37, 12, 15, 16, 42 and 45 with the supplementary numbers of 6 and 9.
