The Knights  will be looking for their first win against the Storm  since 2009 when the clubs meet at Hunter Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Kurt Gidley has been named on the bench again after being a late inclusion prior to his sides hard fought 18-14 victory over Cronulla in round 22, but Adam Cuthbertson is unavailable after picking up a groin strain against the Sharks.

The resurgent Storm claimed their second strong win in as many weeks with a 26-8 victory over the Rabbitohs at AAMI Park in round 22 and have named the same squad for this fixture, with Slade Griffin added to the bench as 18th man. Since recording just one victory between rounds 15 and 20, Melbourne has bounced back to its awesome best to cement its place in the top four and will be thereabouts again in September.

Prediction

The Knights won their first three matches at Hunter Stadium this season quite convincingly but have struggled at home in recent times. They have just one victory from their past four at the ground and will need to improve on that record if they want remain in the top eight. The Storm have shown glimpses of its best form in the past fortnight and their best is good enough to beat anyone, let alone a side that has been as inconsistent as the Knights this campaign. Melbourne won by six points the last time these sides met here and a similar result looks likely this time around. Melbourne Storm by 6
