Wednesday 3 July, 2013 - The second winner from last night’s $50 million Lotto jackpot draw has come forward today to claim their division one share worth $25 million!
The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, was over the moon when it was confirmed by NSW Lotteries that they are now a multi-millionaire.
“Oh my god!” the winner exclaimed.
“When I was told that there were two winning entries last night, I jokingly said, ‘Oh it must be me’.
“I then actually checked my ticket and realised I had all the numbers. I started to jump around and yell. My partner didn’t know what was going on and told me to stop yelling!
“I’m shaking and I’ve been told I’m white as a ghost. I only said recently that something’s got to go my way!”
When asked if they might pay off the mortgage, buy a new house or travel, the ecstatic winner replied, “All of the above!”
The winning 24-game QuickPick Oz Lotto entry was purchased from Norton Plaza Newsagency, Shop 24 in Norton Plaza, Norton Street in Leichhardt.
