Four NSW winners share in Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw!

Sunday 30 June, 2013 - Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw prize was shared by 12 winners across Australia, with four of the winning shares sold in New South Wales. 

A Sydney man from the Western suburbs scored a $2.5 million share in the $30 million division one prize pool, as did three unregistered winners who purchased their winning tickets in Orange, Tamworth and Cessnock.

A man from the Western Suburbs of Sydney will go into business for himself after winning division one and other divisional prizes totalling $2,595,935.15 in last night’s Saturday Lotto $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw! 

The shocked winner said he tried to keep himself calm when he was notified via email that he’d won a significant prize. 

“I wasn’t sure what significant meant. I thought don’t get excited it could mean anything above $5,000. I didn’t expect this!” the winner exclaimed. 

“I’m in the process of trying to buy a business but I was having some finance issues. It looks like now I can buy the business!” 

The winning System 12 entry in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw was purchased online from Tatts.com. 

Orange 

Saturday Lotto players in the Orange region are advised to check their tickets as soon as possible as someone who purchased their entry in the area has won a $2.5 million division one prize. 

The unregistered winning ticket was sold from North Orange News, Shop T8 in the Woolworths Centre, 9 Telopea Way, Orange. 

Peter Minogue from North Orange News was over the moon to hear his outlet had sold a winning entry in the $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw. 

“This is just so exciting! It’s great news. We’re never sold a division one winning ticket before,” Mr Minogue said. 

Tamworth 

Someone in Tamworth will be singing a happy song after winning $2.5 million in the $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw! 

As the winner who purchased their winning ticket in Tamworth did not register their entry to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the multi-million dollar winner. 

Saturday Lotto $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw players who purchased their tickets from Country Capital Newsagency, 289 Peel Street, Tamworth are encourage to check their entries as soon as possible, there is a $2.5 million surprise in store for one winner. 

Cessnock 

No stranger to selling winning tickets, Cessnock Plaza Newsagency has done it again, selling a $2.5 million division one winning ticket in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw. 

Owners Carollyne and John Chalmers are extremely happy that another one of their customers has won division one! 

“We’ve sold a few division one winning entries over the years. We really hope it’s one of our locals who have won such an amazing amount of money,” Mrs Chalmers said. 

However as the winning ticket is not registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, there is no way of telling who the winner could be. 

Players who purchased their Saturday Lotto $30 Million Mid-year Megadraw ticket from Cessnock Plaza Newsagency, Shop 2 in Cessnock Plaza, corner Darwin and Keene Streets, Cessnock are encouraged to check their Saturday Lotto numbers to see if they are holding the $2.5 million winning ticket. 

Twelve winners across Australia won a division one share worth $2.5 million in Saturday Gold Lotto’s $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw. Along with the four winning entries sold in New South Wales, there were three winning tickets from Victoria, two each in Queensland and Western Australia, and one winning entry was sold in South Australia. 

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto’s $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw 3333 on 29 June 2013 were 31, 25, 22, 42, 26, and 11 with the supplementary numbers 8 and 1.
