The Rabbitohs  and Titans  meet at Cairns’ Barlow Park on Sunday afternoon in what has been billed as ‘The Rumble At The Reef’. Both sides are coming off a bye last week but had been in good form before the week off and will be confident of collecting another two points with their State of Origin stars back on board. Souths see Greg Inglis, Chris McQueen and Ben Te’o all return, while Sam Burgess is back in the team after missing the clubs 25-18 win over the Knights two weeks ago through suspension.

Nate Myles, Greg Bird and Ashley Harrison all return to the starting XIII for the Gold Coast, who will be led around the park by halfback Albert Kelly, who inked a new deal to start with the club until the end of the 2015 season during the week. Dave Taylor will come of the Titans bench against the club he left at the end of last year.

1st Tryscorer

Greg Inglis  may have been quiet in State of Origin game one, but his form for the Rabbitohs of late has been exceptional. Prior to his most recent match for the club against Cronulla, the electric fullback had scored 10 tries in six matches, including four against the Tigers.

Titans flyer Kevin Gordon  is one of the fastest men in the NRL and has managed to get across the tryline five times in 10 outings this season. If he gets any space on the flank, he will make the Rabbitohs pay.

Prediction

Despite suffering a 14-12 defeat to the Sharks three weeks ago, the Rabbitohs still lead the competition and have lost just twice in 2013, with their other defeat coming against defending premier Melbourne. The Titans are going well themselves, but with all their big guns back on board, it’s impossible to oppose Souths. South Sydney Rabbitohs by 14
